Summer came in 2022 when Mayorkun released his first single of the year entitled “Certified Loner” (No Competition), produced by Clemzy. After over 200 million streams and consecutive #1 singles in Nigeria, Mayrkun burst onto the scene with his debut solo single “Eleko” in 2016 and is one of the hottest artists in Lagos these days.
Since then she has released several more hit singles including “Mama”, “Che Che”, “Bobo” with Davido, “Up To Something”, “Geng” and “Of Lagos”.Year, 2021, Mayorkun released his second album entitled Back In Office with hits Back In Office & The Holy Father (feat.Victory).
Released to celebrate Nigerian Independence Month, Back In Office follows up on his 2018 debut album The Mayor Of Lagos and sees Mayorkun continue the mayoral theme as he begins another term as mayor of his hometown.
Back In Office is a twelve track album containing his two singles0 from 2021.
The first is the title track, which features his lively Amapiano Afrobeats sound, as well as August’s single “Let Me Know”, a sweet and candid dose of Afrobeats with romance at its heart.
June 17, 2022, Mayorkun starts the year and activates Summer 22 with a CERTIFIED LONER (NO COMPETITION).
